Need To Know Laws

Laws consist of State Statutes and City Ordinances. Many times city ordinances vary from city to city. This page was created to share with you some ordinances that are likely to vary from one city to the next. If you have any questions about any of the ordinances, please feel free to contact the Police Department, (402) 331-1786 or City Hall, (402) 331-6677.

No person shall allow a stray dog or cat to habitually remain nor shall any person feed stray dogs or cats within the house, yard, enclosure, or place.  Strays shall be turned over to the Nebraska Humane Society.
