Welcome to the City of Ralston quarterly newsletter

Note from the Mayor
Welcome to the City of Ralston quarterly newsletter

Welcome to the City of Ralston’s new quarterly newsletter! Ralston residents want to know what’s happening in our community and our goal is to make this newsletter your information source for Ralston.

I certainly hope you have all survived the cold, warm, or snowy winter. It certainly has been a mixed bag of weather. I would like to shout out to all the city staff for keeping our city up and going through all conditions. Great Job!

The Hinge project continues to move forward and in the next couple of months, you will be hearing some new announcements about the progress that we are making. The Arena is having more concerts and they are all having large crowds and the results are starting to show. The Granary is also making huge progress with the New Year's Eve Ball Drop and Valentine's dinner. They are really getting booked up on weddings.

I hope you’ve had an opportunity to look at the new city park study. We did a public survey and took those results and a study of the uses of each city park and developed a long-range plan for our parks. You can find the study on the city website or call city hall if you would like more information.

I’d just like to finish up by saying we have many events planned for the spring, summer, and fall so stay tuned and watch our website.

What is making a difference in Ralston right now is the Ralston Community Foundation. A large donation was given to Ralston by LaDonna Johnston and we are using that to help us do the work on the Hinge and Downtown.

If you are interested in seeing how you can help our Ralston Community Foundation please look at their Web Page and donate. You can specify what projects you would like to help out. Parks, Downtown, Hinge, or your own special desire for our city.

Stay Safe,
Mayor Groesser
