Baright Library: AARP Tax Assistance, Storytime, and Cultural Passes

Baright Library: AARP Tax Assistance, Storytime, and Cultural Passes

The Baright Library is working with AARP Foundation to offer tax assistance at the library on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Specific dates will vary.

AARP volunteers are trained to prepare returns for Iowa and Nebraska. Tax assistance is by appointment only.

For our young patrons and families, we've started our new Alpha Tots storytime designed for kids aged 2 to 5. We will focus on a letter each week, and kids will learn letter recognition through stories, songs, and more.

Are you planning to visit some of the metro area's local attractions? Drop in, or call the library to reserve one of our Cultural Passes. We have passes for free admittance to Fontenelle Forest, the Durham Museum, Omaha Children's Museum, and Lauritzen Gardens. You must be 18 years or older and have an active Baright Public Library card with less than $10 in fines and no other blocks. Each pass will have specific requirements for use.  Visit https://www.ralstonlibrary.org/passes for particular details for each pass.
