The Ralston City Council convenes on the first and third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. City Council Chamber is located at Ralston City Hall, 5500 S. 77th St.

The City of Ralstons sanitation provider is Papillion Sanitation (346-7800).
Please have items placed within five feet of the curb by 6:00 a.m.

Containers shall not exceed 35 gallons nor weigh more than 60 lbs. All cans must have handles. Bags should not exceed 35 gallons nor weigh more than 30 lbs. Yard waste: Containers should be marked with YW in letters 4 or larger. Biodegradable paper bags may be used; no plastic bags. Branches, brush, etc. should not exceed 4 in length, 2 in diameter, nor weigh more than 60 lbs.
RECYCLABLES include: Aluminum and tin (clean aluminum foil, tin cans, aluminum cans and formed aluminum containers such as pie plates) Aerosol cans (such as hairspray cans) and paint cans (must be empty) Paper (newspaper, magazines, brown grocery bags, phone books, catalogs, office paper, junk mail, envelopes, and chipboard such as cereal boxes) Cardboard (break down clean corrugated cardboard boxes or shipping boxes so they are no longer than 2 x 2 and place under the bin) Plastic (1 through 7 plastic containers)
Papillion Sanitation will NOT COLLECT glass, styrofoam, rubber bands, plastic bags, soiled paper, tissue paper, paper towels, wax-coated paper, paint or solvents, hazardous waste, tires, or batteries.
Papillion Sanitation will pick up BULKY ITEMS such as furniture and carpet for an extra fee. Please call their office for further information.
HOLIDAYS: Due to landfill closings, Papillion Sanitation will not pick up trash on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, or Christmas. Your service will be delayed one day following these holidays.
