Economic Development - Current Projects
The City of Ralston has received federal stimulus money for the 77th Street Project. This project will improve the railroad crossing as well as the street. This project will continue to go into 2011, so check back for updates.

The City of Ralston is completing the parking lot project that was developed to enhance the safety of people around the soccer fields. Prior to the parking lot project, people attending socceer games would have to drive down the railroad right away along the railroad tracks. This was a safety concern the city recognized and responded to. With the purchase of ground in close proximity to the fields, the city contracted to have two parking lots installed. The lots include an upper and lower lot. In addition it will provide some sidewalk access to the fields.
