Ralston is located in eastern Nebraska in Douglas County and is a unique defined community bordered on three sides by the City of Omaha and to the south by the City of La Vista.  Ralston's urban area retains a downtown commercial core, schools, parks and public buildings.  Ralston is considered part of the Omaha metropolitan area and has an approximate population of 7,273 according to 2019 U.S. Census estimates.
